I delight in walking Fern, my English Springer Spaniel, through the woods and fields around Stanmer and over the South Downs.
Why not? They sure have the same appearance.
I suppose the leaves of the tree are just performing the same function as clouds do when producing crepuscular rays, so yes, why not?
