From the Boss: I've found a few more pictures from the farm so we will leave Stanmer for a while. This is Goblin Coombe, a couple of miles from the farm, where mu cousin-in-law winters some of his Hebridean sheep.

From the other side
From High Park Wood we see that field of rape from the other side. Just a chink of the English Channel in the distance and the buildings to the left are the Whitehawk television transmitter and the grandstand at Brighton racecourse.

Home again
We got back to Sussex to find our bluebells definitely past their best but the oil seed rape is starting to turn a brilliant yellow and this field at least is lush and green.

A floral meadow
The spring in this corner of the field was dry last weekend but maybe the water level had encouraged all the wild flowers - bluebells, dandelions, buttercups and cowslips galore.
